C Channels

Channels do the secondary work on most structures: purlins, side rails, frames, trailer chassis and stair stringers. As with beams, the profile differs by standard, and the flange shape decides how easily you can bolt to it.

What we supply

  • UPN channels: UPN 80 to 400, tapered inner flanges, S235 to S355
  • PFC channels: 100 x 50 to 430 x 100, flat inner flanges for simpler connections
  • JIS channels: 75 x 40 to 380 x 100 to JIS G3192, normally SS400

Tapered or parallel flange

UPN flanges slope on the inside, so bolting through them usually needs tapered washers. PFC flanges are flat, which makes cleats and connections straightforward. They are not interchangeable, so check which one the drawing specifies before ordering.

How to order

Send the section, the grade and the number of lengths. Material is cut to length on request and delivered to all seven emirates, with mill test certificates supplied. Send your list through the steel quote request form or on WhatsApp at +971 56 227 5722.
