Mild Steel Hollow Sections

Hollow sections are the workhorse of UAE fabrication: frames, columns, gates, canopies, trailers and machinery bases. All three profiles are made to the same family of standards, and the right one depends on how the member is loaded.

What we supply

• Square hollow sections: 20 x 20 to 400 x 400 mm, for columns, posts and frames
• Rectangular hollow sections: 40 x 20 to 400 x 200 mm, stiffer on edge, for rails and purlins
• Circular hollow sections and MS pipe: 1/2 inch to 12 inch nominal bore, ASTM A53 and EN 10255

Standards and weights

Structural hollow sections are made to EN 10219 (cold formed), EN 10210 (hot finished), ASTM A500 or JIS G3466, not to pipe standards. Every product page carries a full weight table, and the steel weight chart has the formulas. For anything outdoors, see our galvanized hollow sections.

How to order
