Mild steel flat bar, also called flats or strip, is rectangular section used for braces, straps, base plates, frames, gate infill and countless workshop jobs. Seen Steel supplies flat bar from 19 mm up to 200 mm wide in thicknesses from 3 mm upward, cut to length and delivered to all seven emirates.

Grades and standards

Flat bar or cut strip
Rolled flat bar comes with rounded edges and mill tolerances. Strip cut from plate or coil has sheared or cut edges and can be made to any width you need, which is often the better answer for wide or non standard sizes. Tell us the application and we will say which is cheaper for the quantity you want.

Cutting and delivery
We supply 6 m lengths or cut to your list, and can cut strip from plate to any width. Deliveries go to workshops and sites across all seven emirates, including Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, Mussafah, Sajaa, Ajman Industrial and Al Hamra. Mill test certificates are supplied with the material.
